But this is hardly that surprising.
There has been some discussion of this on the Rollei

I don't think Rollei has been a healthy company for a
very long time. The current re-organization seems mostly
about who will administer the trade marks.

When will people begin to understand that it is not Rollei, but a small
company called Franke & Heidecke (after the original company) that is in
deep shit ever since it took over from Rollei where Rollei didn't want to
bother anymore?
Rollei is another entity entirely. Nowadays, it is not as much as company as
a brand, owned by people who use it to license it to whoever pays enough.
