Doesn't surprise me that they (as a policy) edit out any images of
guns from pictures. As a left-lib urban rag, that kind of Stalinist
propagandizing is normal. This came to light because they posted a
picture on their website of the mayor (whom they hate) pointing a gun

I'd appreciate others trying to reproduce this please. Not sure if it's my
misunderstanding or a minor bug.
A handy feature is that in a JPG Comment you can enter things like $F to
get the filename and $E306 for the EXIF Date/Time.
But if I try to place both on the same line, e.g.
$F EXIF Date/Time = $E306... more »

When will these people get it? Telephotos can't shrink

Telephotos of specific speeds cannot be shrunk like wide angle lenses
and normal primes just because a sensor is smaller.
A 300mm f2.8 needs a lens at least 110mm across and it needs multiple
elements because aspherics are not used on large elements yet.
Whether the sensor is 4/3rds or FF, the lens is going to be that big.... more »

I can see some benefits in no AA filter if it includes no IR filter, then camera would be useful for Astro, IR, scientific and forensic work. I am not convinced of how useful no AA filter would be in general or studio work. I feel Nikon let the measurbators win on this. I don't think there is a need for a pixel count that high.... more »
