On-board flash sucks (according to the site) but can be fixed with styrofoam
cups. Amazing!

Hey McGiver, this is great if you happen to be carrying around a
backpack full of odds and ends for when you need it.

What I can't believe is that you did all of that and didn't take a
rubbing alcohol bottle and cut it to fit over the flash. Simpler and
better.

And next week "reflectors". I can hardly wait. Get out your aluminum
foil and crinkle it up !!!

Hey McGiver, this is great if you happen to be carrying around a

Not everyone has an external flash. It's for those people and if you use
wireless, but want the internal flash to fill in a little.

What I can't believe is that you did all of that and didn't take a
rubbing alcohol bottle and cut it to fit over the flash. Simpler and

No it doesn't and you have the smart ability to fry your bottle to the
flash. By holding a plastic cup (that is bigger) a little from the flash,
the light is much better spread.

And next week "reflectors". I can hardly wait. Get out your aluminum
foil and crinkle it up !!!

If you're not able to invent something yourself, you can always make fun,
right? DO you feel better now?

Could you quote correctly, and remove sig lines, since your method of
posting doesn't do it?

You're just begging for a new Berty Paul blog page showing the
cheap, DIY way to do that, aren't you? ("Why buy MS Word when
notepad can be used to . . .").

Most answers will quote automatically. I don't know what this guy is using,
but it doesn't work here and I'm not going to place > marks all over the

If these few lines are too hard to follow....

He's on Google, but it's your news client that's also broken, top poster.
