Strange nobody here seem to have come up with that idea; most people
preferred to argue the fact that I wasn't able or professional enough to
adjust the camera.
Something to think about, CJ Campbell, before you point your finger in the
wrong direction....
Can you still enjoy your food with that boot in your mouth? ;-)

All that proves is that you're really annoying, and if you pester
people hard enough they'll agree to anything if you'll just shut the
fuck up.

Now let's see - shooting into the sun with a metering mode designed
not to lose shadow detail ...

That boot is up your arse but you're too stupid to realise.

You have a great day too and come back soon!

Actually, I did consider the possibility that there is something wrong
with your camera. I believed, however, that you had already checked
that out. I guess you aren't as smart as I thought.

Sure, sure....
You considered, you believed, you guessed....
Maybe you should stick with the given facts instead of jumping to premature
conclusions and assumptions.
Or does it make you feel like a better photographer or pro when you put
other people down?

Tell me where I was putting you down, Focus. Perhaps you are being
excessively sensitive.
Think that there was sufficient comment to suggest that there was something
wrong. And too many others have the same problem. So I really do wonder if
your camera is faulty or is it a general problem with the model itself.
Perhaps you would be kind enough to post back to this group
(rec.photo.digital) with the results of Nikon Netherlands examination. My
own D90 is permantely set to - 1/3 stop and I have to adjust to - 1 stop
more often than I should when there is contrasty lighting..
