When I shoot with a strobe the EXIF data indicates flash not used.
I always have my strobe set for high speed sync.

Has anyone else had this issue?

I shoot with a Nikon D300 with an SB800 strobe.

Are you refering to EXIF data shown in pbase, or actual in camera
recording of EXIF?

It was explained in the discussion post "SI-A", that pbase has an issue
with that, inexplicably inserting a false negative with regard to flash
use. One of my submissions to that mandate was shot with my D300s +
SB-800, and while the EXIF data indicated that flash had been used on
all copies of that image file, the SI pbase version stated, "Flash
Used: No".

I missed that discussion. I used flash on all my submissions, but in the
SI the EXIF date indicated a false negative. I just did what I should
have done before posting, checked my EXIF data in Bridge. The issue lies
with PBase.
