It is the same as the Kodak StoryBook frame, which I have, except the
StoryBook wants to be connected to the Web. It is VGA resolution (640X3680)
and the colors are nice. My wife and I have it set to go on at the time
when we usually wake up, and enjoy seeing family pictures on it each
morning. I update the CF card myself, with my own pictures and ones we get
by e-mail.
> Thanks,
I have the non-networked version of this which I use with the CF card.
Picture quality is good. Viewing angle on the LCD is rather narrow. There
is no contrast control on it. Processor on it is somewhat slow. If you
are trying to scan through pictures quickly, it can be irritating. It
takes over 10 seconds for it to bring up the next picture. It seems to
start processing the next picture as soon as it has displayed one
picture. So if you were to wait for 10-20 seconds between pictures,
pressing NEXT will bring the picture up almost immediately. These are
mostly minore annoyances. Overall It is definitely a good value if you
can get it for $90-$150.

I love the fact that I'm not tied to a subscription service even though it
would be slightly more convenient (less work on my part to update my parents
frame).
Thanks to all those that gave me advice.

It's a picture frame that can display digital images, and allow you to do
simple manipulations.
