Below is a link to a not-so-good digital photo I took of a measuring
stick in the swampy water at the Volo Bog in northern Illinois.
Although the picture of the measuring stick didn't come out very well,
it struck me that the rest of the photo looked a lot like an
impressionistic painting. So the second link is a manipulation of the
photo with the measuring stick removed. I kind of like it. What do you
think?

Sure does. Even more if you flip it 180 degrees and crop away most of the
bottom. Now you need to print it on canvas : )
