im going to be doing portraits for a little leauge team and im looking for
sugestions and tips.
should the pictures be taken with the sun to there back or there face ?
of course im trying to avoid shadows and i also could use my flash .
im undecied about which way im going to do this just yet , i have a back drop
system with white muslin drop cloth .
i could use that with them in a batters stance or just with the field in the
back ground or actualy at home plate .
im using a canon 10d and a 420 speedlight and will probaly shoot in auto mode
or portrait mode although i want to be shooting in raw mode and can't shhot raw
in them modes .
any and all suggestions would be most helpfull.
thanks,
teddy

Another thing to keep in mind is that people tend to squint in bright
sunlight. Early morning and late afternoon sun angles will get under
the ball cap bill. Try for a bright overcast day. If you have fill-in
flash, use it. Do you process your pics in Photoshop - you can recover
detail if the highlights and shadows are not too bad.
