No, you do not put the arrow shaft on that side of the hand. You have
a left or right-handed or both-handed bow, and you place the arrow
shaft on the thumb side of the hand. If the right hand held the bow,
the arrow shaft would be on the left.

We hold it up the same way as the Australians. It's a double-negative
thing. We hold it upside down and back to front and it all comes out
right.

It appears that only Canadians do it wrong...or at least the one Canadian.

As to Australian weaponry, though, do you guys rifle your barrels clockwise
or counter clockwise?

A problem of much greater concern is which way do you go around the
church when you dance 'widdershins'? Conventional wisdom means that
you go anticlockwise but in fact it means going against the motion of
te sun.

Here in New Zealand going clockwise is moving against the direction of
the sun and hence from one point of view is the direction you go when
you dance widdershins. Many a god-fearing congregation has come to
blows over this vitally important question.

I've never even heard of any but one or two of these movies. The Canadian film
market must be very specific.
