Ebay will be awash in these things in a short time and used pricing,
though still high now, will be down in the dumps. The addition of the
high resolution EVF to the E-P2 proved Olympus released the E-P1 way
too soon, it wasn't finished. I know it's not in the Japanese genetic
code, but they could have offered an upgrading service for the E-P1 to
make it EVF compatible, instead of leaving people with $1000 paper
weights less than six months after they bought them. This was not
some minor oversight, but a failure to provide a camera with what is a
near essential piece of hardware, unless all you ever do is AF. As an
expensive enthusiast camera, the E-P1 SHOULD have had a good MF
capability to begin with, and it didn't.

Thank you Rich for those sincere pearls of wisdom.
(If they did not come from someone who is always putting Olympus and
their 4/3 cameras down, perhaps someone would actually take it as a
serious comment.)

Rubbish. I've owned more 4/3rds cameras than most people have who use
cameras. The camera I use most now is a G1, 4/3rds. So, I have no
inherent bias against them. I do think that in order to be
competitive with the better results provided by the APS cameras,
Olympus MUST go the extra mile when making new ones.
