dual guinea pigs

Guinea pigs are social animals and I believe do better if they have a
friend. Two pigs of the same sex should get along, although sometimes
two males will fight as they become adults. It seems to depend on the
individuals. I think of guinea pigs like horses. They are herd
oriented and I think are happier when they have a buddy. Two pigs
aren't much harder to care for than one.
We have 6 pigs (I raise them for pet stores) and my 2 year old
daughters loves them.
