Feeding Corn Snake
General Specific
He has always been a good eater. He has never regurgitated, and only
once refused food.
Tonight he ate a medium rat. He's fat so the rat didn't make a dent.
After eating he came back to the bowl looking for more, and if I
approach the cage, he comes out looking at me to feed him.
Could he possibly want two medium rats? It seems like more than the
care sheets call for.

He might just have a very healthy feeding reflex. My boys aren't
great eaters, but once they do eat they stay in that mode for quite
some time, and get pretty perky faced if they think they might get
something else. It's possible to overfeed snakes that are like that.
Your boy is fat and healthy, I'm quite sure he's just being interested
and greedy rather than actually hungry.

If he's mature and well fed, that's of no concern at all. Make sure
he has water and turn the heat down a little, and he'll have no
trouble. He could probably go a couple of months without being any
more than peckish if he has lots of reserves and isn't otherwise
stressed.
