I made a rice dig box playground for Felix with a large plastic tote a
lot of rice with dryer tubing wrapped around and over and into the
box. He had so much fun that when I took him back for a rest break he
drank and ate and went to bed and didn't even bother to snuggle in
just slept where he dropped. I thought he'd want out for more play
time but he was too tuckered out it was so cute. This week end we had
a friend ferret come over for a play-date and sleepover. Felix wanted
to play but Thomas is much older and only wanted to explore. I don't
know how old he is but the family who has him doesn't know any thing
about ferrets and I'm trying to help them. He doesn't get out of the
cage time to play. Once a week they take him out to clean his cage
while someone else holds him. He didn't have any thing in his cage
not even a litter box she didn't know there was such a thing, just a
food bowl and a water bottle. She thought Felix's cage was a mansion
and I want the Ferret nation 142. She was given Thomas by some one
else. While Thomas was here he got the royal treatment furovite,
furotone, duck soup, Felix's food (I'm really glad he liked it, my
puppy Kira ate the food he brought with him, I forgot to close the
carrier we brought him over in), he got to explore the house, dig, and
play in his first tunnel. He wasn't sure at first but then he enjoyed
the playground. He even got along with Kira and Terra my pup and
kitten. To see more pictures of Felix's playground go to
