Milky yellowy discharge from dog's genitals?

Have you ever seen where there's like a constant leakage of a gooey
yellow discharge from large breeds? It's quite oderous and looks like
the stuff they put into those boston cream donuts. The dog seems to be
dripping it at various times during the day.

I think a small amount of discharge is normal but I would be concerned about
any discharge with a strong odor and in large amount. Maybe a vet check for
possible infection is in order?
