They updated their homepage recently (do it monthly, it looks like)
and have several dogs available for adoption. One, Bear, is located
in Northern VA, Wash. DC area. He sounds exceptionally people-oriented
and has also been used for some hunting.

They have a bio on each dog for you to read, and photos of some of the
available dogs. Also email and phone contacts for each dog.

If Bear is placed, or does not fit your lifestyle, perhaps Elaine can
help to match you up with another dog in rescue. They have about 12
