My sister is an avid cat lover and also an equestrian. About 15-20 years ago
while Christmas shopping at Bellevue Square in Bellevue Washington, we found a
pencil drawing of a cat watching what would have been mice walking across the
floor - but instead of mice, they were minature horses. I went back the next
day and purchased it for a gift for my sister - which she absolutely LOVED. It
gave me great pleasure to surprise her with it. Size was about 18" tall x 24"
wide (not certain)

My sister now lives in El Cajon, CA and, unfortunately, lost everything she
owned when her house burned in the California fires several weeks ago -
including the picture I described above. I would LOVE to find her the same pic
to replace the one she lost in the fire. Back when I purchased it, it was
displayed in a box of other pics, shrink wrapped on cardboard, and was in the
$20. - $30. range so I don't think it was "one of a kind" or anything like
that. I am hoping it was mass reproduced and I can find another one. Neither
of us remember the artist or the title (I think I remember it had a title on it
and was signed)

Thanks in advance for any help.

Sorry to hear about your sister's loss.
It sounds like the picture was one of a kind. That's the way unknown or lesser
known artists would sell things.
If you can find the shop and describe the drawing to someone there who was
there when you purchased it, they may be able to remember the artist.
