Cleo Carrington Smith goes completely bonkers over these.

There used to be a treat called "Friskies" which seemed to be a Whiskas
product and she had the same reaction. They were shaped like a fish
or sometimes a star and had a very strong smell that I think was yeast.
They came in a yellow cardboard box.

Then I couldn't get Friskies anymore and I have never found a treat
that Cleo actually liked. I tried them all and she seemed to be
disappointed with everything I tried. I have packets of dentabites,
soft chewy drumsticks and all sorts of things (all whiskas brand)
and she won't touch them.

Then finally, after about
2 years I found these Vitapet Lovehearts and she loves them.
they seem to be an identical formula to the Friskies and have the
same strong smell but they are heart shaped and a litle smaller.

Does anyone else give their cat these? What is in them?
Why do they smell so strong and what is it about them that drives
my cat so wild? Are they good for her? I only give her
4 or five a day as a very special treat.

I have never seen her get so excited by any other treat.
I am worried they will go off the market again as Cleo seems to
absolutely love them!

Everything I can find on these says they are vitamins not treats. Read the
lable and you might find out what is in them.

Vitamins are not supposed to be feed but once a day.

Hmm, the packet actually refers to them as "Treats", but anyway I am no
closer to what I wanted to know!

Sorry my post was not helpful. May be you can contact the company. Sometimes
they have an address and or number on the container for questions.
