A tom cat has (on two nights in succession) entred my house through the cat
flat and terrorized my 3 yr old female cat.
Even when I lock the flap it still tries to get in during the night.
I've already thrown a bucket of water on the tom cat but he keeps coming
back.
What can be done?

I had a wild tom in my neighborhood that ripped up my cat three times. Instead
of getting on the 3 year waiting list for the no kill shelter in my town, I put
my foot down and called animal control. He was a kitten producing machine!
The stray population has now gone down and all the pet cats in the block are a
lot happier.
The main thing is, put a stop to it, because stray toms can cause a lot of
problems!
Probably not a popular opinion, but I am a protective mommy! I will protect my
little kitty over a wild, mean stray any day!
neuter your female!!!!!
the poster explained yesterday that his cat is spayed
