our Albert

Well actually the aspirate came back this week and proved negative for
cancer cells. We're going through a local vet (Kirkwood Animal
Hospital.)
Last week, they took an aspirate of the cells in Albert's kidney and
liver.
It appears that he may have either of two problems per the vet. FIP or
a
bacteria that can be treated with antibiotics.

I have another cat and I'm hoping it's not FIP as I hear it is
incurable and
very contagious.

Albert has been eating every day. He's very active. Chloe and Albert
still
chase each other around furiously and energetically as they did this
morning. I just dropped Albert off for another aspirate to get cells
so the
vet can see if they can grow a culture. She's going to start Albert
on
antibiotics anyway today.
