Yeah, she's alright. Working hard, dealing with pain. I think she
checks in frequently.

Yes and no - and I don't even remember what I wanted to ask you! I found
out I have RSD (think being dunked in a vat of lava and double that pain and
you'll get half of what RSD feels like). Also, in all this medical stuff I
found out that I've contracted Hepititis C (my best guess is the dentist's
assistant who had such a huge, swollen cut finger that he cut that finger
out of the rubber gloves in order to work on my tooth, which was bleeding at
the gums - now wasn't that bright of me!). The treatment of HepC is said to
be worse than cancer chemo - and you have to take it for 72 weeks with a 50%
chance it won't work. I've never had the guts to put an end to this pain,
but the HepC might just help me out - all I have to do is NOT take the
chemo. Of course that's it's own very long and painfully drawn out
suicide - I've heard dying of liver and kidney failure is not a very fun way
to check out.

I just literally don't have the energy to post as much as I used to. I've
been hanging out in the chronic pain support group and that's about as much
posting as I can handle at the moment. Ben is still out of work so that
means I have to keep working - if I take a chance on instantly getting
disability, that still leaves 3 months of not working before I can even
apply, and we have no savings to fall back on - so all that would do would
be to move us into that spacious cardboard box under the overpass (with 5
cats) and me with no pain meds at all (after withdrawals from hell which
could themselves kill me).

My only chance at life would be to win the lottery so I could travel to
Germany and get induced into a ketamine coma (they knock you out for a week
or two and flush your blood out with ketamine)
http://www.howtocopewithpain.org/blog/108/a-coma-to-reduce-your-pain-yep-but-does-it-also-reduce-your-thinking/.

I check out posts in here and send purrs when I can (and always think about
you guys - but I know y'all can take my talk of depression and suicide, so I
try to stay low-key).

So anyway, what's happening with you? ;>

Wow! You're sure dealing with a lot! Purrs for something to ease your
pain, at the very least.
