Picasso portrait fetches $95.2m

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/4971444.stm

A Picasso portrait of his lover Dora Maar has been sold for $95.2m (£51.8m),
the second highest amount ever paid for a painting at auction.

I think it proves cats don't care what you look like. <eg>

I was about to post to ask where the cat was in the picture when I finally
spotted it - I think. Tiny, black with purple eyes and on the woman's lap?
No, wait, THERE IT IS standing on the chair back beside her shoulder! Or
maybe there are two cats, one in her lap and one on the chair back?

I think there's only one, on the chair back.

Wouldn't it be great if the money was put to use to ease hunger and
suffering of animals and/or humans?MLB
