Now there is a new Doll in the house, the China-Doll, who inherited my
job title. No, I don't mind. It's weird I had to be transfered to this
new place--and what a trip over the bridge that was--just so I could
become her Foreman. But necessary. I needed to get strong again in
this new climate.
I'm very pleased with the progress of China-Doll. When the two-legs
miss me she goes into the first project I taught her. Just the other
morning she even made it mroe efficient and she'll have a little bonus
for it. Now all I did was teach her how to back her butt into a two-
legged person's face. it's particularly effective when they sleep.
China took it further and plopped her fanny right over Mama's eyeball
and just waited. It never occurred to me that two-legs cuss louder
when they wake up and find a butt on their face, than if they see the
butt coming at them.
All in all she is a credit to my division.
I hope they know I miss them too.

My monitor just got all misty, and then it started to rain on Suki, who was
in my lap at the time. Even more odd is that unlike her usual aversion to
water, she didn't seem to mind these raindrops, and just purred louder.

If you're paddling upstream in a canoe and a wheel falls off, how many
pancakes can you fit in a doghouse? None, icecream doesn't have bones.
