'Crews battle blaze at Yellowstone National Park' ([link]) Here we go again. They will fight the fire from the air or from the road. But in the park the policy is not to go off road to fight the fire. It is bad, but then it was ready to burn.

Yellowstone National Park hosted a record number of visitors this summer. Nearly 2.3 million people came to the park during June, July and August, up 124,000 over the previous summer record of 2,173,371set back in 1999. See: [link] Ron

The web cam on Mt Washburn in YNP has been re-oriented to show a fire on Druid Peak, along the northeast entrance road, instead of it's usual view of the caldera. The view of the fire may not last long, but if you would like to see a different view of YNP go to: [link]... more »
