Cold, snowy, and wet rain here. Trying to get out for some rainbows and search for crappie just as soon as the ice melts on my boat. I guess I could go ice fishing, but I have a freezer full, and it's just as cheap to buy it at the store. What bait does one use to catch ice, anyway? Steve

Landing net

I trout and bass fish on a local lake. My landing net has a twisted nylon line net. I spend more time taking out the treble hooks than fishing. Is there landing nets made of mono? Any other ideas other than slinging the fish out of the water, taking a chance of losing it and the lure? Steve
