I trout and bass fish on a local lake. My landing net has a twisted nylon line net. I spend more time taking out the treble hooks than fishing. Is there landing nets made of mono? Any other ideas other than slinging the fish out of the water, taking a chance of losing it and the lure? Steve

Fishing a Buddy's Pond

A friend of mine invited me up this week after work for an evening of fishing. He has a pond that is about 5 acres stocked with catfish, bass, and panfish. I had not fished like that for quite some time and it was a lot of fun. I fished it for awhile with a rubber worm and landed some decent bass.
