  I trout and bass fish on a local lake. My landing net has a twisted nylon &lt;br&gt; line net. I spend more time taking out the treble hooks than fishing. Is &lt;br&gt; there landing nets made of mono? Any other ideas other than slinging the &lt;br&gt; fish out of the water, taking a chance of losing it and the lure? &lt;br&gt; Steve

  A friend of mine invited me up this week after work for an evening of &lt;br&gt; fishing. He has a pond that is about 5 acres stocked with catfish, &lt;br&gt; bass, and panfish. I had not fished like that for quite some time and &lt;br&gt; it was a lot of fun. &lt;br&gt; I fished it for awhile with a rubber worm and landed some decent &lt;br&gt; bass. Then I switched to a Mepps and picked up some decent bluegill.
