I trout and bass fish on a local lake. My landing net has a twisted nylon
line net. I spend more time taking out the treble hooks than fishing. Is
there landing nets made of mono? Any other ideas other than slinging the
fish out of the water, taking a chance of losing it and the lure?

However, look into a rub bag. Much easier on the fish if you are releasing
and your hooks will not tangle.
