Hmm...
Pats on CBS
Gi'nts on FOX
Bosox - Yanks on NESN
All at 1 pm! Arrrgh!
/daytripper (gonna have a bad case of surfer's thumb tonite ;-)
You could come help me paint!
Op --I save some for ya. Oct. is a loverly month in which to paint home
exteriors--
Andy Roddick vs. Juan Carlos Ferrero, US Open, 2pm Mountain Time (4pm
Eastern).
Roddick came from two sets down yesterday to beat the very game but
tired Argentine David Nalbandian.
1pm PBS:
Monarch of the Glen
Lexie's fear that her wedding is jinxed is only made worse by her mother's
arrival
hth
g.c.
That's a good program; unfortunately, my local PBS station quit carryin' it.
I still have "As Time Goes By."
Geoffrey Palmer (I think that's his name) and Judy Dench are the shit!
Op --"Waiting for God" ain't so bad either--
Multiple TVs? PIP? Nervous remote 'previous channel' buttoning (only 2
channels, the hell with the Giants, I'm only watching the Pats and Sox).
Thankfully, PIP and the "Last" button on the remote make this easier than
rolling three toobs together ;-)
At the half & 6th inning:
- Pats are having their heads handed to them by a whole bunch of ex-Patriots
in Buffalo. This will simplify the 3 games vs PIP problem.
- Gi'nts are holding their own.
- Sox-Yanks is the jewel of the bunch, a scoreless pitchers duel with neither
side giving up more than a couple of hits so far..

Roddick won in three sets. Devastating service performance against a
tired and pissed off Ferrero.
That was some amazing tennis.
Is Roddick the heir-apparent now that Sampras has retired?
In review: Pats sucked swamp water, Gi'nts kicked ass, and Sox lost a good
game in the 8th inning and end up only 2.5 games back...
/daytripper (thank god for the Gi'nts!)
You betcha. He serves bigger than Sampras and his groundstrokes are
better. Once he gets the confidence to serve and volley more he'll
become an all-time great.

I watched Houston beat Miami.
Except for the Cards, what a lousy goddam day . . .
