I've been fly fishing for large mouth bass exclusivly for 4 years now.
I'm interested in how other serious bass fly fisherpersons carry their
gear.(vest,chestpack,tackle box,butt pack...)

I always fish for bass from a canoe and I only use poppers and I only
carry a box of them, a plastic divided box that holds about a dozen
poppers. Never found much need for more than that.

When fly fishing for bass from shore I either put a plastic or wooden fly
box in a
pocket or inside my shirt.(if you need to wade put flybox in a zip lock
bag in side shirt and it will keep spare flies dry)

When i am in a boat i take a canvas bag with lots of flies, leaders, rain
jacket, gloves and something to munch on. Also i carry a plastic garbage
bag to cover canvas bag when it rains.

I keep all my bass fishing gear in one canvas bag and Trout gear in a
seperate bag, when i get ready to go i just grab the appropriate bag and
rod and I know everthing is there.

Hope this helps
