My locator stopped working today, it just shut off and won't come back
on, it was working fine before it went off. I hit the on button and it
sounds like it's powering up but nothing happends. I checked the inline
fuse and it was good, could it be a bad ground?

What me worry?

Yes, or a dirty switch/connector.

Check the fuse holder for minor corrosion also. Had something like that
with the front sounder on my Cat. It was Scott over at BCB who suggested it
to me. I replaced the Lowrance fuse holder with a sealed rubber one and it
fixed my problem instantly. One of the guys on the BCB web forums said it
was a pretty common problem.

Bob,

Thanks for the help, it was the fuse holder, I bought a new one and it
came right on. You guys here in this group are so good at
troubleshooting, and have saved me alot of money.
