As the subject line states, I'm looking for a trolling motor. I have a
Triton TR-21 that currently is equipped with a MotorGuide 107 Beast, 36 volt
trolling motor. Well, it died and I need a replacement trolling motor. A
TR-21 is a fairly large, heavy boat and it needs a minimum of a 24 volt, 80
lb. thrust motor.

So, if anyone has a "spare" trolling motor lying around, and you don't want
an arm and a leg for it, email me at this address. It doesn't matter if
it's MotorGuide or MinnKota, it just has to be a bow mount and in reasonable
shape. I'd buy a new motor, but I'm thinking about putting the Triton up
for sale soon and don't want to spend a lot right now.

Thanks,

Steve, I sent a email to my fishing buddy that doesn't read these boards. I
know he swapped his out recently and I think he may still have the "old one"
He has a 21 foot Pro Craft, so I'm sure if he has it, it might just work for
you.

Mike

Thanks Mike, I'll be looking forward to hearing from him.

Mike,

I want to thank you for following through and sending the email. Your
friend did get in touch with me and I should have a working trolling motor
in another couple of days.

Thanks so much, I appreciate it!

I'm glad I remembered, something I don't do as often as I'd like...

Well, it evidently worked well enough this time. I should be getting the
motor this week! Which is a good thing, because I've been going nuts having
to fish from the back of the boat in others' boats.

I spoke to him last night, he's coming down this weekend and said you should
receive it Wed/Thur, that'll give you time to install it and wet a line from
the front.

Hey, you get that new trolling motor? You been out whacking them during the
fall feed?
