Subject: Lakes: An Alien World Just Below The Surface
Lakes are a world unto themselves and most of us know very little about them.  I am a writer and I wrote this article to help myself and others learn more about lakes.  Lakes are a fascinating feature of our landscape.  Each one is very different from any other.  Some are so different that animals in Lake A would die in neighboring lake B and vice versa. The site  this link leads to is safe from virus, but there are some ads on it.  Enjoy the read.  - Floris Wood -
