I have been to Rice Lake and stayed at Springbank Cottages

I went onto their website after my visit, looking for the email
address so I could ask the owner a question and was surprised to see
the claim that Rice Lake Ontario was the highest production of
freshwater fish, per square foot, of any lake in North america. This
seems outrageous but I wondered if anyone else knew if it was true or
not?
