The report is clearly true - they interviewed the DA, some other
official, and someone from AANR. The troubling part of this story is
that they are going after a nudist resort WITHOUT A SINGLE COMPLAINT,
just looking for a reason to bust them. There are no reports of
abuse, pedophilia, sexual activity, or even petty theft.
This is an organized political campaign to create outrage and
indignation in the populaton to further the careers of the officials
involved. It's a sham, but the crazy thing is that the photos that
were once posted on the resort's web site could be the basis of child
porn charges due the mounting misconceptions as to what kiddie porn
actually is. Apparently a child's bare bottom is now pornographic.
Also, they talk about the "fitness" of any parents that would take a
child to a nudist resort, saying that proving negligence would be
"easy".
There should be widespreat outrage in the nudist and naturist
communities, and an outpouring of support for the poor people who are
owners and members of this resort. Never mind losing a nude beach or
two, this case strikes at the heart of the lifestyle, and if the DA is
successful it could be the beginning of the end of traditional nudism
and naturism.

soooo this could result in a text case if they should get a conviction
for lewd or otherwise improper behavior for children to be subjected
to....then the aanr and the camp can appeal all the way to the ussc
and do the ol gunfight at ok corral and see who wins...if the camp
loses at that level it will all be over for family nudism.....jz

dozen c-o beaches around the country, for a non-binding promise not to
harass nudist resorts in Alaska and Arkansas.

needs to do to get smart on the situation in that state is watch a few
episodes of the old Andy Griffith Show. That 1960's era series was dead on
accurate as to how people in that state still think. The state motto should
be "IGNORANCE UNDER GOD". These are the most hypocritical, ignorant,
racists (that don't mean a follower of NASCAR) people on earth and I can
safely guess the reason this DA is now turning against the place is money
related.
Jasmine Trail club used to be known as Pamlico Pines. The original owners
fought with the county every step. Harassment like giving them a permit to
install a swimming pool after reviewing the plans, then making the owners do
extensive changes to fit commercial pool codes rather than private use
codes. The club still opened but like with any thing owners either get
tired or mismanage and end up selling their dream.
No consider the fact that many newcomers have invaded NC from liberal places
like New York and Pennsylvania. This new Yankee invasion brings money with
attitude, and it would be my guess someone would like to see the owners of
Jasmine trail get tied up with frivolous litigations to the breaking point.
The club would then be put up for sale, and no doubt a good-ole boy fellow
lodge member buddy of this DA would happen to buy the place, and turn into a
clothing-compulsive club. There's lots of tourist dollars leaving NC for
Myrtle Beach, SC, and that just can't be, Aunt Bea!

i have spent a few weeks in nc at motels and watchin their news i got
the same picture .....i notice their city council at charlote sp.,.is
very sensitive in lookin very good ...it is nearly perfect....while sc
is a totally different story.....these two states are considered rival
states and with the sc governor problem they are tryin to out
