  There was a DX-1 and a DX-5. Herbie Hancock has a DX-1. &lt;br&gt; They didn&#39;t make many, and they were $14,000 way back when. &lt;br&gt; I saw one, once.   I think it&#39;s the other way around -- the DX-7 came out before the DX-9, &lt;br&gt; at least that&#39;s the way I remember it because the DX-7 was really &lt;br&gt; something not seen before when it was released in 1983. The only thing I &lt;br&gt; recall that proceeded that was the GX-1. Their numbering system does &lt;br&gt; make some sense when you look at the product release dates.

  I am wondering where to get a good midi player where I can load a midi &lt;br&gt; file, and edit and play the notes.   hi all, &lt;br&gt; i have my old copy of MPP and some old data files i&#39;d like to convert to midi. &lt;br&gt; old and tired question i&#39;m sure. &lt;br&gt; i tried booting to dos 6.2. this got me farther than anything i&#39;ve tried before. &lt;br&gt; but, not all the way. &lt;br&gt; i got to the file select screen and then it hangs. &lt;br&gt; i even have the install file, which starts and hangs.
