Hey, Blov, I checked out the forum on DDD a little.

(Sorry about the epic fail comment in the other thread. I started to feel
bad.)

The DDD forum has the problem of a lot of online forums, which is way too
many categories. When I checked there were seven users online, but there are
over 40 forum areas. That's why I like the Rate Your Music forum, which
doesn't break it down like that.

There's a friggin' mandolin site I might check out more a lot often but it
has over 20 areas. Like the DDD categories I'd be interested in nearly all
of them. It's ridiculous.

The DDD categories are made for each of the lists on DDD. They are
supposed to be for the discussion of the rankings on each list.

The problem with RYM is that it's all 16 year olds who mainly only
like alternative music.

Opposite. It's one of the killer stereo tracks of the 60s. I suppose
it's the only Aretha record that you have on your player......you
don't exactly seem like a "Do Right Woman, Do Right Man" fan to me.
Anything that brings that much emotion frightens you.


So you had one of the ten on your player. I was 90% correct. And I
knew all along which one it would probably be, if there was one.

It's 2:44, and the song is 4:35, but we know how you exagerate.

I would offer a different reason as to why you don;t want to hear it.

Yes, I have (only) 10% of the "black" songs you listed on my player. But
I also have (only) 22.5% of the "white" ones from that pedestrian list of
1971 Top 40. So sue me for the imbalance.

Hayes' intro is 60% of the song. Temptations is "only" 25%. If "Shaft" was
11 minutes long, maybe we could talk. But hey, I'm a bad mother fucker when
it comes to digital editing... I'll just stitch the vocal part twice at the
end and i'll see if I like it then. If not, the song will get permanently
"shafted" by me.

What way was it that I didn't get?

I predicted those ten songs would not be the ten on your playlist and
I was 90% right. I wish I could pick football games at that rate, I'd
