Sounded good on LP, sounds horrible on CD, even resorting to LP rips,
and harsh edits of their hits. Tore apart the abortion sound on CD and
reassembled it, recollecting what I heard on LP. Curious if anyone has
the Millennium Records LP, or the Razor & Tie CD. Frankie is from NJ,
and I want them to sound great on CD! I can't rely on my peers,
obviously!...

don't have the LP or CD BUT do have the promo 45 which was shorter
than the commercial release(have commercial release as well). The only
CD I have Sweetheart on is Radio Daze:Pop Hits of the 80's Volume 5
released in 1995 by Rhino. It's really a shame that series ended after
5 volumes.

Thanks, Paul. I see there are a couple CDs on the Ellipse(?) lable,
besides Razor & Tie. Not sure who they are.

Just weird, on the out of print CD, Sweetheart is about 4:10, but on my
various artists CD, it's 3:55. Just weird for whoever to chop out that
bit! Like it was done on purpose.

Rhino has Nielson Pearson's song I want, besides also being on a OOP
Capitol CD, but you know me and Rhino! ;-)

Just a suggestion...you might get a better result if you search for
the correct artist name. While DJs always pronounced it "Frankie" the
label says FRANKE (no letter "I"). If this post sounds rude or
sarcastic, it's not meant to be that way.

Yeah, found that out, Chris!

Thanks!

Didn't they do "You Never Had it Better"? Always liked that song.

I checked it out on my LP. It's from the second album "Below the
Belt" and worth the search.

I will give it a listen and see if it sounds better than the one I have.
