The American version appeared on German satellite in the early 90s along
with the the singer, Peggy! :-)

Nope. Never played it with anyone, but it's an excellent record, and I did
see Peggy March on an oldies show in '87. She looked and sounded great.
IIRC (without looking it up) that song was written by Paul Mauriat.

Nick, I don't think I've mentioned in here (though I've been plugging it
most everywhere else) that I have a new CD out (as by Gary E). Here are
samples of 4 of the songs. (Samples of the other 8 are also up there, in 2
parts):

Love Is Blue! That was good.
Yes, Peggy's great - you actually saw her on the stage? - Wow!

I listened to Part 2 and, like Part 1, it's very good.

Did you know Adele rose to fame after a friend put some of her stuff on
MySpace?

Her Skyfoal with the Crumb Bowl and Stand Toll really annoyed me at first,
but once I got used to the annoying lyrics (two cliches in there - # feel
the earth move # poles apart) I decided I liked the melody and went to see
the movie.

Go see it - it's EXCELLENT and the song works really well in the titles.
