Good call, Rock!!!

"Two Faces Have I" could have found a spot in there as well as Lugi
Sacco firmly ensconsed himself on the popular music map in 1963,
baby!!!

Come on boys!!!

Little Peggy Peggy March could use a little help here!!!

Don't like his string laden fluff.

> Till Then - Classics IV (love this)

It's just the Classics, Jethro, and it's not a patch on the ass of the
Orioles version (oir the Mills Brothers).

LOL...come on, no GUYS like this.

> My Block - Chiffons (love this)

Those strings blow.

> These Arms Of Mine - Otis

That's from 62. Here's where is stands on my 62 list:

25 ¦ These Arms Of Mine ¦ Otis Redding

> Pain In My Heart - Otis

Inferior reworking of this....

Ruler Of My Heart - Irma Thomas

> Fingertips - Stevie

Annoying repetive noise.

> You Lost The Sweetest Boy - Mary Wells

Weak.

> Cry Baby - Garnet Mimms & The Enchanters

Okay, I don't love this.

> Cry To Me - Betty Harris

Burke is the version.

> Hey Girl - Freddie Scott

Sorry, not crazy about your buddy's sellout hit.

> Anyone Who Had A Heart - Dionne Warwick

Yes, it's very good.

> Ruby Baby - Dion

Not a blip on my radar with the Drifters version around.

> Need To Belong - Jerry Butler

Pretty good.

> Sally Go Round The Roses - The Jaynetts

Can't stand this.

That's not on my '63 liat? I may just have to make room for it.

Take another look. I'm pretty sure that one's on my list.

That's not on my '63 list? I thought it was somewhere between #101 and
110.

Again, I'm pretty sure it's on my list. Have another look.

It's interesting to compare the titles listed in this thread vs. which
titles were *actually* popular in 1963. Out of the top 10 titles for
the entire year per Billboard, several were not even mentioned here by
*anyone*.

01. Sugar Shack » Jimmy Gilmer & The Fireballs
02. Surfin' U.S.A. » Beach Boys
03. The End Of The World » Skeeter Davis
04. Rhythm Of The Rain » Cascades
05. He's So Fine » Chiffons
06. Blue Velvet » Bobby Vinton
07. Hey Paula » Paul & Paula
08. Fingertips II » Little Stevie Wonder
09. Washington Square » Village Stompers
10. It's All Right » Impressions

It's my personal #1 of the year.

That's on my list.

I used to like this one but outgrew it some years ago.
