Of course. The Supremes, especially Miss Ross, were just in it for a
good time.
No bickering!
Nothing serious!
Right.
It was.

Back in My Arms Again is one of my all time favorite songs by any
artist. Love that song
"Can't Hurry Love" was very much loved then as a month-long number 1
record in America in 1966 (back then) and a beloved oldie even now.
It was arguably (with substantial) reason a comeback record for the
Supremes as well, as successive releases after Stop In The Name Of
Love (the 4th monster hit in row) saw increasingly diminished sales
and interest (Back In My Arms Again, Nothing But Heartaches, and
Itching In My Heart all failed to reach # 1 on New York super-
heavyweight of those times, WABC Radio 77 (or even the # 2 position
for that matter - look it up/look it up), and Itching In My Heart even
failed to high enough to earn being kept around as an oldie on that
station). Phil Collins' remake decades later - 20 years plus on or
so, only indicates the continuing shadow of love the beloved and
favorite oldie still cast all those years on, and how memorable it
was. It is even very danceable in the old-fashioned jitterbug-style
couple dancing of early Bandstand years. As they say, imitation is the
sincerest form of flattery. If some folks are missing an aesthetic
lobe, who criticize the song, that's not the fault of the rest of us
fully-endowed for appreciating it.
Back then, it was easy to get caught up in the vibe and call everything
'classic'
Today, as a wannabe, I see Motown records as having many more B-sides than
A-sides
