"Rainy Day Women #12 & 35" was recorded and charted before "They're Coming
To Take Me Away, Ha-Haa!"
Another SFB delusional theory bites the dust.
....and another nail in the coffin of Uni's fantasy radio station show
gig...
"Rainy Day Women #12 & 35"? No such title!!!!
Uni
BS! See plenty of evidence of the title here:
<http://www.searchingforagem.com/1960s/1966Rainy.htm>
"Rainy Day Woman" was a Waylon Jennings song from the 70's.
You little music bookworms amaze me. You claim to know everything, but,
in reality, you should be sewing quilts, leaving the History Of Music in
my very capable hands.
Uni
Fucking buffoon.
But sweetie, you only offer a distorted, highly invented history of music
-- one step removed from basket weavers who sit and smile and twiddle
their thumbs and toes. If I were you I'd watch out for the men in
starched white coats. Read my luscious lips: they're not coming to offer
you a radio show.
To be honest, initially, I never had plans to collect '50's music. But,
hot-dog, by doing so, I've made minced meat of the '50's music experts!

Why would the Producer ask this of me?...
"and do you have a recording set up (Your Voice) or have a clip of your
own as a sample of your voice."

No one hires or interviews anonymous usenet posters, especially those
bent on trolling. Experienced radio people have a hard time getting radio
jobs. Any producer with even half a brain would look at your web page of
snips and conclude: "This guy's an amateur hack - there's no information
here to impress me."

LOL! Like this would get you a job. Dream on, anonymous doughboy!
Now go quick! Take your Realistic microphone from your imaginary
recording set-up, open a window in your slum building and give it your
best shot. Maybe some producer passing by your window will hear your
cries for help and offer you a job. Sure anything's possible in
Neverland, Tinkerbell!
There is no web site like mine in the entire world. Mine is the most
comprehensive collection of alternate versions, demos, out-takes, studio
talk, unedited versions, rare stereo, etc., of Top 40 Hits. Experienced
radio people have a hard time getting radio jobs? Probably because of me
always correcting what they say.
Even the big time CBS Broadcasting is often corrected by myself, after
they confuse Dr. Hook for Dr. John. The station managers love me, when I
guide them to better sound quality versions, for their HD Radio.

Oh, come on, just bite the bullet and yell "Great job, Uni!". You know
I'd do the same for you peasants.

As inept, ugly, and void of information as you.
Even Bruce's gal, DianeE, came to my rescue, yelling "It indeed was a
Philly hit!!". Not sure why Bruce didn't admit it, he was probably
sulking in a dark corner.

Uni is so fucking delusional, he makes Orly Taitz look like Richard
Dawkins.
Dean, you know, you could teach me everything you know about music. I
have a half minute to spare!!!!
What was your station call letters? SCAT?
Uni :-)
You missed the combo job I did on those 2 and played on my show a few
months back.

Thanks! Don't listen much to radio - busy collecting everything they
don't play!!

Unlike Uni, Bob can actually prove that he has a radio show!
Oh, heck, Dean, I had many offers for a 2-3 hour radio spots, but with
my massive and uncommon collection, I just desired more!
Uni
Oh, and not to brag, Dean, but seldom is a music collector confronted by
a record company, because of the ultra rare stereo he collects, like I
was!!!! And since I'm not into this mess to make money or have others
profit from it, I said go away!!!!

"Confronted" is the operative word here.

"Rare" only because he fabricates it himself.

Probably served with a cease-and-desist order to stop illegally
posting altered copies of copyrighted material without full disclosure.

Well, he tried, Stacey, he tried.
And it was no "fantasy", I was offered, but rejected, because I am no
DJ! At least I can admit the truth, unlike others here who yap and
bicker about obscure music and bore this group to death!! Put this group
on radio and they'd call the national guard to break up the fights! :-)
