Here's mine..

***** Bill Doggett -- Honky Tonk -- King 4950 -- 1956
   The Viscounts -- Harlem Nocturne -- Madison 123 -- 1959

By coincidence, my car's Sirius radio 50s station played "Honky Tonk"
yesterday, and solidified my vote for it. It's the best actual r'n'r
instrumental hands down.

   The Ventures -- Walk Don't Run -- Blue Horizon 101 -- 1960
***** Cozy Cole -- Topsy Part 2 -- Love 5004 -- 1958

Just for the record, I would have voted against "Topsy" if it was
matched up against any of the six other possibilities. "Walk Don't
Run" seems to me by far the least worthy of the quarter-finalists

   Freddy King -- Hideaway -- Federal 12401 -- 1961
***** Booker T. & The MG's -- Green Onions -- Volt 102 -- 1962

   Little Walter -- Juke -- Checker 758 -- 1952
***** Bill Justis -- Raunchy -- Phillips International 3519 -- 1957
