over in the 60's group----I have my 1964 list nearly ready.
As to 1950 there are just so many records---of all genres---from that
year that I don't know that its hard to come up with a very meaningful
list but I'll go with what I have (most will be famous stuff which
basically duplicates your choices) and post something later.
And yes "Mona Lisa" (my choice as #1 pop record of the entire decade!)
will be Top 3 for that year for sure along with "The Fat Man" and
"Please Send Me Someone To Love" unless there is some other dynamite
record I'm forgetting that is'nt in your list either :)

I've enjoyed reading your lists, Bruce. One small criticism. You're obviously
big on Hank Williams, as I am. But once you've opened the door to country,
there's a lot more to consider than Hank Williams. For example, in '50 you've
got "I'm Moving On" by Hank Snow and "If You've Got the Money, I've Got the
Time" by Lefty Frizzell. IMHO, both of those rank up there with anything but
the very best Hank Williams.
