In a session at Bradley Studio in Nashville, Ferlin Husky re-records
what will become his biggest hit "Gone" for Capitol (Husky previously
recorded the number back in 1952 as Terry Preston) "Missing Persons"
from this session is chosen as the "B" side. "Don't Be Mad" also from
this session (a comedy parody of "Don't Be Cruel") is inexplicably
held up until 1963 when it appears as a Capitol single credited to
Husky's alter ego Simon Crum

In New Orleans,Dave Bartholomew and his band lay down four tracks :
"Hard Times (The Slop)"/"Cinderella" (for an Imperial single) plus
"Can't Take It No More" and "Good Times" (featuring the young Allen
Toussaint on piano). The last two tracks stay unreleased for decades
