CARIBBEAN SPLASHDOWN MUSIC FESTIVAL (HARLEM, NY)

NEW YORK CITY (AUGUST 30, 2005) - Modern reggae artist, RedGal, will
be a featured performer at the Caribbean Splashdown Music Festival on
Saturday, September 3, 2005. The festival will take place at Marcus
Garvey Park (122nd Street and Fifth Avenue in Harlem) from 1-6 pm.

RedGal is the stage name of twenty-something year old Belizean-born
beauty Suzette Ferrell, now residing in Harlem. Her stage name, RedGal,
was given to her in her native Belize because of the color of her skin
and fire of her music. RedGal is very versatile and creative with her
original style of music. Her music can be classified as "modern
reggae," or as RedGal prefers, "Belizean Style," combining elements of
traditional reggae, hip-hop and dancehall. RedGal believes that her
music reflects her inner being. She also writes all her own songs -
"positive" and "introspective" - in the "Belizean Style."
RedGal is currently working on a mixtape and full-length album to be
released and marketed fall 2005 and early 2006, respectively. She will
also be embarking on a major tour schedule for the remainder of 2005
and beyond.
