I discovered this music genre during a 5 month trip to Central America
recently, I returned with about 20 Reggaeton compilation CD´s and now when
I´m back home I´m trying to stay up to date with the scene. Any tips?

I´m also curious about how big this genre is outside the spanish speaking
world. Have YOU heard about it?

/Finn

I just came across some a few weeks ago in a local music store, got
"Reggaeton en Control". I haven't listened to it enough to say that I like
it or not, my first thought was that it was a little too far from mainstream
reggae for me. I'm not Hispanic. There are quite a few web sites on the
subject.

Being that I was a double major in Spanish, I've long had an interest in
Spanish-language reggae. The term 'reggaeton' however, is somewhat new to
me but I have heard it here and there, but I haven't followed it at all...
I think I'll go find some web sites on the subject...
