Any Rush album, maybe?

"The priest jabbered incomprehensibly on the distinctive nature of Christian
actions, as opposed to Jewish and Muslim actions, in the world. Not one word
about Mary. No connection to the readings. I am getting tired of this man,
and I think his liturgy is suspect." -- Richard Allan Baruz
You know it can't be a great prog rock album if no one can tell which
is the album name and which is the band name.
"2nd Album" sounds like a band name?
Eh? With the exception of Emerson, Lake & Palmer, that's *supposed*
to be a shibboleth of prog rock.

National Health--self-titled
A great album by any measure, but still enhanced by Amanda Parsons on
(sometimes wordless) vocals.

They renamed themselves UB40 when they got fired from their day jobs.

To keep up to date, they should rename to HL7.

Pretty much anything by Mostly Autumn. My own favourite is the live
album, The Story So Far.

The NHI prefers CDE, though I did work with the guy
who was the driving force behind HL7 and know why
it has the format that it does.

Nah, the data format is identical to a proprietary database
and programming language.
http://www.informatics-review.com/wiki/index.php/The_Medical_Record_(TMR)
The language was called Gemisch, which stood for something,
and had powerful string manipulations. I've since lost my
programming reference (a single double sided page), but I
do remember the command "D D D D" did a shitload of work.
Unfortunately Hammond was a horrible businessman, and I jumped
ship right before he went out of business at Duke. (It went
on elsewhere for a good bit, but was VAX based and the lack of
a GUI probably doomed it.) When I got to Duke in 1980 it was
already doing things like prompting for re-vaccination when
appropriate. I had an appointment sometime after 2000 and
the doc lamented that the new system couldn't handle something
as simple as that.
It was the most comprehensive medical record system I have
ever seen. Appointments, billing, connected to lab machines,
ICU monitors, complete clinical record, drug dosing, adverse
events, and an awesome data dictionary, A fucking travesty
that he mismanaged it.
His biggest fault was not charging enough to have enough support
staff. Plus Hammond comes across as a jerk who alienated too
many people. He was just like my dad, so it never bothered me.
The skills I aquired during those 3 years have served me well,
and I always enjoy it when I run into Hammond. The guy who
did the database and wrote Gemisch in VAX assembler is the
best programmer I have ever known by a factor of 10. That
lucky bastard bought season tickets to Duke basketball in the
early 80's for a pittance when the program was struggling and
they had trouble filling the stadium. Last I heard he still
had them for the original yearly price, which was guarenteed
as part of the deal.
The difference between success and failure is often quite small.

She's female?
How 'bout that; I just presumed she was a castrato like most other
heavy metal singers.

Alex will find a way to silently get from where she is to where she
