NEARfest is a two-day festival celebrating the resurgence of interest in
progressive music, presenting ten world-class bands across diverse
progressive rock genres.
NEARfest 2003 Ticket Prices (U.S. Dollars)
The two-day pass grants you access to all ten performances, the art gallery,
and the record convention.
**No single-day or single-band passes will be made available at any time.**
Orchestra Front (Rows A thru S) $85
Orchestra Rear (Rows T thru FF) $75
Loge $80
Mezzanine $75
Balcony $65
Tickets for NEARfest 2003 will go on sale Saturday, February 15th at 10:00
am EST and will be available via the following methods:
1. In person at Patriots Theater Box Office in Trenton, NJ. (cash or credit
card, no checks)

Per venue rules, there is an 8-ticket per person limit at the box office
window. The venue staff will do its absolute best to accomodate everyone
queuing up for tickets.
If you have questions regarding the box office on-sale process, please call

If you have not ordered via tickets.com before, it is advisable to register
(free of charge) in advance of the ticket sale date to save time while
ordering tickets.
Note that tickets.com software asks you to select the price range of ticket
you would like.
If you are not successful in a certain price range, you must select the next
range down manually and begin again. This can be a time consuming process
during high demand times with slow page refreshes. Again per venue rules,
there is a 4-ticket per person limit via online sales.

Please clearly tell the operator you would like to order tickets for the
North East Art Rock Festival at Patriots Theater at the War Memorial in
Trenton, NJ. Again per venue rules, there is a 4-ticket per person limit via
phone sales.
Please note that NEARfest 2001 sold out in 2 hours, and NEARfest 2002 sold
out in approximately 45 minutes. Be sure to get your tickets early or risk
being shut out of an unforgettable weekend of progressive music.
The lineup for NEARfest 2003 consists of:
CAMEL (International)- This beloved and legendary progressive band is both
celebrating their 31st anniversary as a group, and holding their farewell
tour as a live act. Depending on the scheduling of the farewell world tour,
Camel's headline performance at NEARfest 2003 could be their last-ever live

MAGMA (France)- This adventurous and legendary Zeuhl fusion group will be
performing the USA debut of new music with an expanded lineup. The world's
most famous avant-progressive group will headline the Saturday half of the

THE FLOWER KINGS (Sweden) - Popular modern melodic progressive band with
diverse influences. First major festival gig with the new lineup with a
greater emphasis on instrumental virtuosity. (4th band Saturday)

ANGLAGARD (Sweden)- The grand reunion of what is widely considered the best
symphonic progressive band of the 1990s era. Anglagard's music is melodic
and complex, featuring a heavy use of dynamics. (4th band Sunday)

TUNNELS (USA) - Progressive fusion of the highest caliber with Brand X
stalwarts Percy Jones and John Goodsall and the amazing Marc Wagnon on the

Special Guest Artist: ROGER DEAN- world-famous progressive rock album
illustrator will be with us hosting a gallery and designing the festival
artwork for the 3rd consecutive year! Also in attendance this year will be
George Underwood, responsible for the cover art on several Gentle Giant
albums!

20 minutes doesn't give 1,750 people enough time to buy tickets. I say it
will be more like one hour and fifteen minutes eventhough last year it was
about 45 minutes.

if I would like it or not. I still don't really have any R.I.O discs and I'm
not sure if they would be the best place for me to start.
