Is it me or is this song changing slightly? I think this is the 2nd time i have felt there was more to it. for 11/24 i think trey turns on a different effect right around when they lock into the heavy groove, 4:30 or so. from there it seems to take a different edge and I am really liking it. Maybe a bit darker like the heavy metal... more »

hey ya all, ok, from what i have seen pitt>deercreek>alpine>RR>Chito wn>cincy the boys are only getting better, and better. i think it has taken a little while for them to get back in the groove, but damn i think they are in it now. anyone else agree/disagree? wayne k

I am about 1/3 into listening back but it seems like they are having a great time, esp Mike! Starting with the opening notes of Chalkdust the Cactus is prickly!

This could be one of the most underrated Phish songs. That B flat -> C jam at the end is absolutely gorgeous...after listening to the acoustic version from 11-1 about 700 times I listened to one from Summer '03 (7-26 I think?) this afternoon, and damn...it just took me - there-. Now this one from 11-18 is sounding really nice with Trey... more »
