I REALLY disagree with it; the split that is. We need to stick together as
a family and a fragmentation would just be frutfell, oops frutless if we wanted
to stick together. Aso, imagine this scenario: I want to tell a Phish Story
about my first show (Dartmouth College '88), and talk about the tape I just
got about it but want to know if anyone else was there. So, I would post it
to all four above mentioned groups. So.. kind of a waste.

Ok, a few things..First Hi. Second New Years Eve
Matthews Arena is a hockey rink. The"area in the middle" that was
referred to in an earlier post a a dance floor is none other than the area
that would be skated on if a hockey game were being played. (I think it's
ice :-)
Also, I plan to lug my four track to the show (yes it runs on batteries).
My dream recording setup would be a par of shotguns and a pair of
soundboard feeds. Seeing as I 1) Don't own a pair of shotguns and I 2)
doubt I could get a soundboard feed, what do you more experienced tapers
suggest?
NNYC(NonNewYearsContent): After a discussion a while back, I remembered an
experiment a friend of mine and I did at about 4 am with the 5/16/92 set 2
tape:we played it backwards. Most of it sounded cool but unintelligable.
One thing stood out during Suzie, every time the word Suzie was sung, it
came out to the sound "hey-zeus". Chance you say? I think not. Our
phavorite band MUST be butting backwards messages including the spanish
variant of Christ's name in its songs intentionally. :-) (Please note
tounge-in-cheekness of the above comment)
